I don’t want them because they’re unsightly and ruin the natural landscape, which we deserve to enjoy. But there’s also the risk to marine life, which I’ve seen some credible claims on. I’m not sure what the CDC angle could be. Mental health?

They're much less unsightly and harmful than offshore oil rigs.

It is quite incredible that people with such low IQ can be in charge of the US. I'm not just suggesting JFKJr.

While true, "write conclusion and work backwards" (which IMO this is) is less of an IQ thing and more of a "conflict theory"* thing.

      * the opposite of "mistake theory": https://slatestarcodex.com/2018/01/24/conflict-vs-mistake/

I like the mistake/conflict distinction, but in this case the conflict theorist People elected Elites (who proceeded to wage war on the People, broadly speaking). The dissonance hurts my brain.

This is willful ignorance, targeting a political issue which has nothing to do with health.

I'd assume that McKinsey, Enron, Madoff & Co. have convinced quite a few people that "high IQ" is not a virtue.
