Trowed in EICAR test "virus" (a valid DOS executable) -- all decompilers just "segfaulted".

really cool! I was finally able to decompile the keygenerator for one of my software. I lost the sources but I still have the keygen. It was a VB6 keygen. With AI and some of the decompiled code I was able to convert the algorithm to python. No more need to have windows to run a keygen.

That’s neat, been doing similar in VB6. Wrote a semi vb decompiler 15 years ago which i released the source for, great for learning. Now with AI to help code improvements expanded from VB1 to VB6, .net, twinbasic, quickbasic. Details https://vbsourcecoderecovery.com Did reach out to the decompiler explorer site too but never heard back

I had to use it months ago, to understand what happened under the hood of some compilation and speed optimize a process. I realize that I should probably have used an LLM to try and interpret the unnamed routines, to speedup the analysis. Especially since what I got were partial decompilations with different strengths.

Terrific, care to opensource it by chance?
